Mount Lofty Springs is a South Australian owned and operated company which has been servicing South Australia in the water industry for over 30 years. We aim to supply South Australians with premium spring water at an affordable price while endeavouring to minimise our impact on the environment and supporting local companies. How does Mount Lofty Springs do this?

Firstly, we prioritise local suppliers. For example, if we can get a product from a local supplier, then this will be our preferred option. We will only ever source overseas products when there are no Australian manufactured options.

Secondly, Mount Lofty Springs has been a market leader in the water industry by implementing a deposit on our 11-litre reusable and fully recycled bottles. Why a deposit? By merely adding a deposit to the 11-litre bottles gives value to those bottles, thus discouraging irresponsible bottle disposal where those bottles will eventually end up in landfill and ultimately damaging the environment. The deposit scheme encourages customers to return their unwanted bottles to Mount Lofty Springs where their deposits can be refunded. We will then deal with those unwanted bottles in a safe, environmentally friendly manner. How does Mount Lofty do this?

We partner with plastic recycling companies who recycle the old bottles and use them to produce other useable products. This strategy dramatically reduces our carbon footprint on the environment. It encourages people to deal with plastic and waste in a much more responsible manner. Another of our environmentally friendly strategy is the way we package our small single-use bottles. These products are packed in recyclable cardboard boxes rather than being wrapped in plastic which has seemingly become a present-day standard of the industry.

Our water most importantly is sourced locally as the name suggest right from the peak of Mount Lofty in the pristine Adelaide Hills. It is of exceptional quality being free of heavy metals and toxins while retaining essential minerals, thus making it of the highest standard drinking water. When the water arrives from the spring to our bottle plant it undergoes a sanitation process removing any unwanted bacteria. The water is then squeezed through a micron filter, removing any unwanted matter while maintaining the integrity and chemical analysis of the water. This process does not change the structure of the water. Still, it allows only the water molecules pass through the membrane making sure the water is of the highest quality for our customers.

Lastly, Mount Lofty Springs take pride in the customer service we offer. We offer free delivery throughout the metro area to homes, businesses, government departments, factories, worksites and the other regions as needed. We always aim, where possible, to meet and satisfy our customer's needs.

Mount Lofty Springs is very supportive of local charities and endeavours.

Over the past 30 years, Mount Lofty Springs have been supporters of many local charities and community events. Our contribution has included donating and supplying our products to non-profit and sporting events and during disasters. For example, during the most recent bush fire crisis of summer 2020, Mount Lofty Springs donated pallets of much-needed drinking water to firefighters and volunteers on Kangaroo Island.
